Fourth Quarter Reflection

This quarter turned out stressful, tiring, but with happy and unforgettable memories. We only had a little time discussing our lessons, which tested our capabilities to understand what they really mean and what the topic was all about. The last quarter is already about to end, Im so lucky because I had the chance to learn and try doing Photoshop which for me, I will need to apply the skills in the next school years.  Thank you for the learnings, Ma'am Vera Cruz! ❤️

My Dream, My Future

“Live your values. Pursue your dreams. Follow your passions.” We all have dreams, either big ones or small ones. Even the most successful and prestige people had dreams, when they are still young and it has made them for who they are today. The best way to become successful is to always be motivated by our dreams, which makes it important. Dreams are necessary. Without dreams, there’ll be no goal to reach. With dreams comes great responsibility. Let’s not just dream and dream and dream. We need to wake up and work for it. Without hardwork and determination, our dreams will remain as dreams and will never be achieved. For me, my dream is to become a doctor. So, I need to study well to achieve it. I imagine myself without a dream, I’ll never get pride in what I do and what I have achieved. I imagine myself without motivation, I’ll be a failure in life. Dreams are very important. It motivates, inspires, improves, and helps me in becoming a better person someday. Someday, I wi

High School Day

Imahe
Foundation day is the most awaited and busiest occasion celebrated in our school every March 1 and 2, annually. It is the time for us to commemorate the birth of our school, the Ilocos Sur National High School. We welcomed our High School Day with a grand parade. There are only few activities during the Foundation Day but still, boundless excitement and anticipation awaits us, students. A coronation ceremony was held, this school year’s Mr. and Ms. ISNHS is Ulric Llanes and Andrea Quitevis. Every year level has to prepare their own dances for the field demonstration – Boys and Girls Category. We have to practice almost daily to have a better performance. Our teachers also prepared their intermission number. Our High School Day celebrates our past, who we are today, and our future. We’re proud of our past and present schoolmates for their achievements as well as to our teacher’s, alumni, and staffs. We celebrated the achievement of people who made up our school and still makin

Ilocos Sur is a beautiful province in the Philippines located in the Ilocos Region in Luzon. It is rich in ancient Spanish and Filipino heritage culture. To proudly show and share their treasures, Kannawidan Festival is being celebrated to highlight these cultural traditions. It is being celebrated from last week of January to the first week of February. There is a mass held at St. Paul Metropolitan Cathedral on the opening day, followed by a procession of the 40 Patron Saints of every parish. It is the Ilokano’s way of giving thanks to the Almighty Father for the blessings and for the rich heritage of the province. There are also many other events that focuses to the ability and skills of the youth and the students like for example, the Streetdancing Showdown showcasing their One Town One Product, Cookfest, Folkdance, and Quiz Bee. Change starts with: ME

"Everyone thinks of changing the world, but no one thinks of changing himself." - Leo Tolstoy We have our opinion in changing our society but, its like that we have no plans to improve our lives. If we want to change the reality we must start with ourselves first. For me, I must raise my level of consciousness to transcend problems with awareness. It makes sense to work on ourselves so that outside conditions will no longer affect us, as they once did. I must spend my time on what really matters to have and ensure a good life. We must show our true colors. We have to be us. Let us change for the better. For us to live a remarkable life, in spite of our fears and doubts, we must take a consistent action.

New Year, New Me

Imahe
January 1st means fresh start and a beginning of a new year. It is celebrated all over the world with great fervor and enthusiasm. All people are very joyous because for a little span of time, they tend to forget the sorrows existing in their life. New year is more than that, it is a year for self-improvement. For me, as a student, I must admit that i am a certified procrastinator. I did nothing about it in the past years. It is my fault though, to not make my project when there's a free time and just make it when the deadline's near. So, for 2019, I badly want to eliminate procrastinating. I want to improve my life skills, because it is necessary for my day-to-day life. It can also help me to conquer common   challenges especially when it comes to being independent. I have already realized that, all those changes I want to achieve is also for my own betterment. No one's gonna do it for me, except for myself. I have learned that working on my abilities can make me

Third Grading Reflection

"If you don't suffer, you don't get anything. Nothing is easy in life." - Bikram Choudhury This third quarter is really about to end and for sure, we never leave any quarter without learning.  Third quarter really became challenging for us, students and teachers, because we only had a little time in discussing our lessons anr doing our requirements. We need to do some self-studying and it's really hard because not all students can understand the lesson easily. Indeed, nothing worth having comes easy. When we really want to learn, we'll do our best to do the tasks assigned.  This quarter turned out to be really stressful but we know that, those hardships we endured can result to a successful outcome. We should not lose hope and we should always believe in God, in everything we do.
