We are capable of recovering, even how strong that disaster is. We are excellent in making things just the way they are. How can Filipinos do that? How brave are they? Well, of course, maybe it runs in our blood. Annually, there are so many unexpected disasters in the whole world, but for the Pinoys, we are already used to it. Instead of doing anything to lessen the effect of what the disaster may bring, we are doing nothing except to accept and let it pass. Strong typhoon which causes waist-deep floodwater, you can see people smiling, laughing, and they’re not afraid what the typhoon may really bring. They let it pass, wait for the lowering of waters, and try to rebuild again their homes. They rebuild. They don’t wait for help because in the first place, they already knew that nobody is going to help
